The easiest way to sell cattle is to know someone who is aware of another breeders needs and has an asset like The Angus Network to bring buyer and seller together.

Listing Fees:

  • 60-Day Listing (Live Cattle, Embroys, Semen) - $25
    • 5% commission taken on all live animals and pregnancies.
    • 10% commission taken on all fresh and frozen embryos and semen.
    • Commission is not taken on any single order under $500.
  • Cattle Wanted Listings - $10/mo
  • Banner Ads - $25/mo + $100 design fee (Call to sign up 406-962-3310)


The Seller Process:

How to list your cattle:

  • Create an account online. If you do not have internet access, call The Angus Network to setup an account. (All information on the site is for the use of The Angus Network exclusively.)
  • Fill out all listing details and attach a photo. The Angus Network will only accept complete listings. Those without pedigrees will be rejected.
  • Pay for the 60-day listing via Credit Card through PayPal.
  • All animals must be 100% Angus. Commercial and 50% Angus may only be accepted with specific permission from Chris Jeffrey and The Angus Network.
  • AHIR produce of dam and a performance pedigree is HIGHLY recommended, but not required.
  • Seller can expect The Angus Network to assist heavily with modifying footnotes and listing compelling items related to the items being sold.

Throughout your 60-day listing you can log into your account and see how many people have viewed your listing.

Purchase Process:

  • If someone is interested in your listing they will click on the make an offer button.
  • The Angus Network will be notified of the offer and the seller will be contacted immediately via phone and/or e-mail.
  • We ask that you respond to The Angus Network as soon as possible. If we have not heard from you in 3 days, we will reject the offer. You, as the seller, reserve the right to reject or accept any offer. However if a full price offer is submitted you are obligated to sell.
  • Once you have contacted The Angus Network with acceptance or rejection of the offer, The Angus Network will contact the potential buyer.
  • If the offer is accepted, The Angus Network will collect payment from the buyer within five business days. You, as the seller, will receive payment within ten business days of transaction.
  • Once any check or funds have been cleared, the buyer obtains ownership of the product(s).
  • Shipping must be arranged through communication between the buyer and seller. The Angus Network is not responsible for arranging delivery.

The Buyer Process:

How to make an offer:

  • Setup your free account with The Angus Network and log into your account.
  • View the listing you wish to submit an offer for and click on the make an offer button.
  • The Angus Network will be notified of the offer and will contact the seller immediately via phone and/or e-mail.
  • The seller will respond to The Angus Network within three business days or the offer will be automatically rejected.
  • The seller will contact The Angus Network with an acceptance or rejection of your offer. The Angus Network will contact you shortly after with the decision of the seller.
  • If the offer is accepted you will have five business days to make payment to The Angus Network. Payment may be made either by check, which must be received in five business days or by credit card. After five days, if payment hasn't been received, you, as the buyer, forfeit the sale.
  • Once any check or funds have been cleared, you obtain ownership of the product.
  • Shipping must be arranged through communication between the buyer and seller.
